Meet Dr. Noor: The Gentle Hand Behind the Tooth Truth

If you’ve been following along on The Tooth Truth, you’ve probably noticed a theme:

honesty, heart, and a deep love for making dentistry feel a little more human.

Since we’ve been spending some time together (whether you’re reading about the best toothbrush to pick, decoding fluoride facts, or learning the real deal about whitening kits), I thought it might be nice to properly say hello — and share a little bit about who’s behind these blog posts!

I’m Dr. Noor N. Ay Toghlo, a dentist who believes that taking care of teeth is important — but taking care of people is even more so.

Whether you’re a little kid nervous about their first filling, or an adult facing a big procedure with shaky nerves, I’m here to meet you exactly where you are — with compassion, patience, and genuine care.

(between us — Brenda the Toothbrush insisted she make an appearance in this post. Apparently, she got a little jealous that I was getting all the attention and decided to show up in her own white coat. Classic Brenda)

  • I’m passionate about patient education — because empowered patients make healthier choices.

  • I believe in honesty over hype (especially in a world full of overpromising dental products).

  • I treat every smile like it matters — because it does.

  • I’m currently in a time of growth and rebuilding — dreaming bigger and caring deeply, as always.

Why Take a Pause to Share This?

Because behind every tip, product review, and myth-busting blog post here on The Tooth Truth, there’s a person who’s been in your shoes: navigating change, working through challenges, and trying to build something meaningful.

If you’re a longtime reader — or just finding this blog today — I’m grateful you’re here.

Your trust means everything.

Today’s Tooth Truth Lesson:

A healthy smile is important — but a kind heart shines even brighter.

Thank you for being here — for reading, for learning, and for sharing this space with me.

Behind every blog post is someone who’s been learning, growing, and rebuilding, both inside and outside the dental world. If you’d like to see a little more of that journey — snapshots of my life, the people who lift me up, and the chosen family who remind me what real love looks like — you’re warmly invited to visit my personal page: @mikkiiminach. 💜

However you found your way here, I’m grateful you’re a part of this chapter.

More truths, more smiles, and more heart to come.

— Dr. Noor AyToghlo 💜
